We are looking for a Facility Production Manager for our Canarctic Graphics print shop and web press, headquartered in Yellowknife, NT, where we offer a large variety of print and graphic design products.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for printing and meeting targets. We are looking for an individual who possesses strong organizational abilities and experience, as well as leadership qualities and attributes, and exhibits outstanding time management skills. The preferred candidate will have experience in the printing industry and a deep understanding of overall printing facility operations, financial management and budgeting skills with a commitment to fiscal responsibility and bottom-line accountability. Our top priority is an individual who will take ownership and pride in the overall operation.
Requirements:
- five years experience in a commercial printing operation
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- energetic self-starter with a “can-do” attitude
- computer literacy, including good working skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
(proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, and/or Illustrator are an asset) - strong attention to detail in all areas of work
- excellent time and project management skills
- motivated individual with proven initiative and determination
- ability to travel as required for the position
